Angela Ricciardi is a multi-disciplinary artist, director, photographer, and filmmaker. Inspired by the chemical reactions and manual processes of analog media, her experimental moving image works and photographs explore surrealist landscapes of the psyche, with narrative at the core. Combining meticulous intentionality with divine accidents, she seeks to reveal aspects of her subjects—and herself—that lie hidden beneath the surface. Her practice is inherently relational, driven by an interest in storytelling that elevates the personal to a state of reverie. The concept of archiving and marking existence, as well as exploring pre-existing archives, is central to Angela’s image-making practice—something she aims to pursue in future projects. Currently based in Los Angeles and London, she has collaborated with many influential artists and clients across music, fashion, and film.
